PrimaryBid

PrimaryBid is an investment technology platform that allows everyday investors fair access to public companies raising capital.

The PrimaryBid products are mainly provided via the following channels:

B2C2B (Business to Consumer to Business)
B2C2B describes the distribution channel where PrimaryBid will maintain a direct interface with both the consumer (i.e. retail investor) and the business customer (i.e. issuer). This model is currently adopted only in the UK where PrimaryBid is authorised and regulated under the FCA.

B2B2C (Business to Business to Consumer)
B2B2C refers to the distribution channel where PrimaryBid does not have a direct relationship with the consumer (i.e. retail investor) but rather interacts with a business customer (i.e. distribution partner) instead. The issuer interface is identical to the B2C2B model. This model is currently adopted in France, where PrimaryBid is authorised and regulated under the AMF & ACPR, with plans to expand across the EU.

B2B (Business to Business)
In this channel, PrimaryBid assumes even less responsibility with regard to interacting with consumers (i.e. retail investors). All of the interfaces are with a single business customer (i.e. enterprise customer) who using their own platform (powered by the PrimaryBid SaaS platform) is responsible for setting up and executing deals or offers. In this model PrimaryBid does not have any direct regulatory obligations.
