NEXT has been designed as a layered system on which three main components can be easily identified.
NEXT Central System is the central backend connecting vehicles to central operators and delivering the business logic.
NEXT On-Board Software implements the logic that makes the vehicle ready to operate autonomously and connect to any device equipping the vehicle. An easy to use graphical user interface supports the driver in his/her daily operations with facilities to communicate with the control centre over a secure and reliable communication channel.
NEXT On-Board Hardware is a suite of compatible devices able to support a wide range of deployment scenarios and customer’s requirements.
