CIO SUMMIT 2015

April 8, Reston Virginia

The nation is under attack every day by would be hackers, foreign and domestic, aiming to crack the codes and break down current cybersecurity defenses, both internal and external, that protect our critical infrastructure. President Obama has stated that the cyber threat represents "one of the most serious national security challenges" in the nation today.

BSI presents the CIO Summit for the nation’s top CIOs and CISOs, to bring greater awareness to cybersecurity. A member of the president’s Task Force for Executive Order 13636 Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Presidential Policy Directive as well as one of the principal architects of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework will join industry experts to discuss how the threat of cyber-attacks can be best mitigated.

Building a powerful counter-force to block malicious outsider hacks or prevent internal negligence requires a strong foundation. This event will demonstrate how the NIST Framework and ISO/IEC 27001 work together to build a strong program that can help identify, assess and reduce cybersecurity risk.

Join us on April 8, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia.
